Congratulations Kevin & Shalah

Kevin and Shalah were married this past Friday, May 9th 2008 at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colorado. They enjoyed a beautiful spring day for their outdoor ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Chris and I had a great time photographing this wedding. The bride and groom were so enthusiastic about their photography and were up for anything. At one point Kevin said to us "Do I get to pick her up?" Of course you can. More to come.

Kickin' It with the Bubbas

Just thought this was cute. I was downstairs working and heard Gaven freaking out in the living. I went upstairs to find him nestled between Trent and Logen while they were playing the Wii. Too cute. He was having the best time. He absoultely loves his Bubba's (brothers). He freaks out every time they come in the room.

We had the honor of shooting John and Courtney's wedding last Saturday, April 12th 2008 at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The couple was fortunate enought to have a shift in the weather that allowed for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The couple was great to work with and had a great time at the event.

So Chris and I along with a few of our friends caught Bon Jovi last week up in Denver at the Pepsi Center last week. In case you didn't know this about my wife, she absolutely freaking loves Bon Jovi. In particular she loves guitarist Richie Sambora. She has been infatuated with him as long as I have known her, which is about twenty years at this point. Chris was so excited to have a chance to wear her custom made, swarovski (sp?) crystal "Sambora Girl" shirt. Her friend Mindy has a coordinating "Jovi Girl" one. Bon Jovi tours about every other year and it has become a bit of a bi-annual holiday in our house. I must say that I have become a pretty big fan myself. They put on a great show. Every time I go I find myself scanning the arena and being in complete awe of the frenzy that they work the crowd into. Hard work being a rockstar apparently.
