First Movie
I have been a little behind on the blog; trying to get caught up now. Gaven took his first trip to a movie theater a few weeks ago. Trenten was off with a buddy, so Chris and I decided to take Logen and Gaven to see "Kung Fu Panda." I have to admit that I was a bit pessimistic about what his behavior would be, but it actually went pretty well. Gaven fell asleep during the previews and through about an hour of the movie. He woke up towards the climax of the film, ate some fruit roll-up and yelled occasionally through the end along with the other kids.
Rockin' It Senior Style

I don't generally shoot senior pictures, but this was a special circumstance. Katie is my cousin from Ohio, who flew out with her mom this past week to get some senior pictures. We had a great time going all over town and get her something a little different. Pikes Peak as a background doesn't impress many folks from around here, but I'm sure it will carry a little weight in Ohio.

Congratulations Scott & Amanda
Chris and I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Scott and Amanda this past Saturday June 21st. The ceremony was held at The Shrine of St. Therese in Pueblo. After the ceremony we did some portraits at Monument Valley Park followed by the evening reception at The Double Tree Hotel in Colorado Springs. Music and emcee services were provided by our good friend Chris from Blue Moon Entertainment. We would like to wish the couple a long and happy life together.

Congratulations Russ & Amanda
Russ and Amanda were married this past Friday, June 20th at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs. It was an absolutely beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony. The couple followed their ceremony with an evening of dinner and dancing surrounded by friends and family. Chris and I had a great time capturing Russ and Amanda's big day and wish them all the best.

Congratulations Nick & Pamela

Christy and I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Nick and Pamela this past Saturday, June 14th. The wedding and reception were both held at a relatively new venue called The Inn at Palmer Divide located in Palmer Lake. I would have to say that this was one of the most emotional weddings that I have ever been involved with. The outdoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, followed by dinner and dancing inside. The bride's father read a letter that his daughter had written him when she had first met her future husband. It was one of the sweetest and most heartfelt descriptions of love that I have ever heard. We wish Nick and Pamela all the best and a long and happy life together.

Congratulations Mark & Meredith
Chris and I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Mark and Meredith this past Saturday. The couple exchanged their vows at First Lutheran Church downtown, followed by a lunchtime reception at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou. The couple was so much fun to work with and were open to everything we asked of them. We had a great time shooting this one and wish Mark and Meredith all the best.

Pool Party
So the boys set up a mini water park in the back yard yesterday. We are so happy that the weather has been nice and the boys can get some quality outside time. Summer vacation and being cooped up in the house aren't a good combination.
