Tiny Dancers
I recently had the opportunity to photograph our friends Chris and Candy's daughters before their dance recital at The Pikes Peak Center here in Colorado Springs. Chris and Candy are the owners of a wonderful DJ company here called Blue Moon Entertainment. Check them out if you are in need of such services. These two cuties were so much fun to work with. Dance definitely teaches them not to be shy about posing. . .

Congratulations To Ryan & Anne Marie
Ryan and Anne Marie were married recently in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs, Colorado. These two had a busy week. They both graduated from the United States Airforce Academy on Wednesday and were married on Friday. It made total sense though. All of their family and friends were already or still in town and ready to party. Christy and I had a great time photographing their special day and wish them all the best in their new life together as well as with their new careers.

Logen's Stage Debut

Logen participated in his first school musical program. Apparently there was western and ocean theme? Unfortunately, I had to miss the show because it was the same day that Gaven got his cast put, and he was to say the least, not ready for a public appearance. Chris and Trent said that it was a great show and that Logen did pretty well. I just wanted to share pictures of him all dressed up.

The Perils of Gaven
So our little guy has had a rough couple of weeks. It all started the Friday before last with a trip to the doctor's office to diagnose a double ear infection. Then on the following Monday, Chris slipped coming down the stairs with Gaven on her hip and landed on his leg that was wrapped behind her. A trip to the emergency room revealed a broken ankle. Chris was pretty sore for a few days, but no real damage thankfully. Then this past Friday, the poor little guy had a bout with the stomach flu. A solid twelve hours later he seemed to be past it. Now he's just completely frustrated with not being able to walk because of the cast. Thankfully he should only have to wear it for three weeks since the little guys heal so much faster than adults. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that the cast comes off for sure before our spring break trip to San Antonio.
